With the rise of prices and scarcity of all the resources it becomes more and more apparent that building energy efficient structures is becoming cost effective. Fuel prices in the Dominican Republic are as high as anywhere in the world!

CNIC has completed construction between 2007 and 2008 of 2 private homes equiped with solar water heating and solar pool heating systems. One of the houses is also equiped with an adjustable wind flow design.

It is our intent to come up with a contemporary design for a private home built on the bases of renewable energy sources as much as is possible with the tropical environment of in the Dominican Republic in mind.
